I need (want) a new steering wheel for the C4 somewhere between Grant and Nardi. Preferably not so close to Nardi in price. And it has to be unobtrusive and appropriate for the 80s. Anyone have any ideas?

Personally, I'd keep it stock to prevent old people from yelling at you.
I just can't picture anything but the stock wheel looking age appropriate on an early C4.

Haha old people yelling. It's just that the leather is worn through on the top, but I guess if I'm embracing the mileage then I should cherish the wear!

Now I just need to figure out how to be David Hasselhoff and make the Corvette talk.

If you have the cash, why not just get a reproduction wheel?

I'd heard bad things about a lot of reproduction wheels, but I didn't realize Eckler's made them. Best option so far!

You could keep it classy - Grant GT Challenger in black with walnut. ~$112 at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

I second the reproduction wheel. Yes, a modern racing wheel would probably be more comfortable and higher quality. However, unless you plan on all-out race-prepping the car, it would still look funny.

Wow, I really like that. Thanks!

Yep! They make just about everything for Corvettes. I've been pretty satisfied with the things I've bought from them so far.

A period correct Momo would be pretty cool, and a used one won't set you back a ton of cash.

Ah, a stock Caprice wheel. Nice choice.
